Japanese Broadcasting crew visits Maxwell
A news crew member from the Nippon Hoso Kyokia (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) films Air University Headquarters at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., June 15, 2017. The film will be used for an upcoming documentary about the Air Corps Tactical School, which was located at Maxwell from 1931 to 1942 and played a major role in the Allied air domination over Japan during WWII. The NHK crew visited Maxwell in December 2016 for their documentary about a group whose mission was to protect and salvage works of art during WWII. The NHK has an average viewership of 11 million.
