FOIA reading rooms are provided to the public for viewing records on site. They can exist at a FOIA's physical location, and/or via the Internet at the office's web site. The material contained in these reading rooms are called "FOIA-processed (a)(2)(D) records."

So, what is an (a)(2)(D) record? An (a)(2)(D) record is a record that a particular FOIA office determines will, or has become, the subject of frequent or subsequent requests. (5 U.S.C. 552 (a)(2)(D) ) Currently, the processed (a)(2)(D) records available at this time are:
