Maxwell HAWC offers new classes

8/28/2009 - MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- The Maxwell Health and Wellness Center is offering four new classes for September, according to Tech. Sgt. Chandra Gomez, noncommissioned officer in charge of Health Promotions. To register, or for more information, contact the HAWC at 953-7117.

A class called "Test Anxiety" is scheduled for Sept. 14, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Taught by Capt. (Dr.) Chad Morrow of the 42nd Medical Operations Squadron, the class will teach how to overcome test anxiety.

On Sept. 15, 10 to 11 a.m., Marie Hixon is teaching a class on "Eight ways to relieve stress." Ms. Hixon will also teach "Overcoming workplace stress" on Sept. 16, 10 to 11 a.m.

Exercise physiologist Michelle Pittman will teach a class called "Fitness done right" on Sept. 29 from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. This is an exercise class and includes a demonstration on gym equipment.
