Defense Biometric Identification System registration

1/21/2011 - MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- The visitor control center and Military Personnel Flight will be open for DBIDs registration 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, Feb. 12, 19, and 26 for anyone needing to register. Registration is mandatory for everyone accessing the base.

The biometric registration should take three to five minutes, and will include scanning the member's ID card and two sets of fingerprints. Active-duty military, Department of Defense civilians and retirees are given priority registration through February.

Everyone is required to register by July. For more information on DBIDs, call the 42nd Force Support Squadron at 953-4283.
