3/16/2012 - The Maxwell-Gunter Warriors varsity basketball team, shown alongside coach Marvie Epps, ended the regular season as Southeastern Military Athletic Conference champions, reaching the playoffs as the top seed in the seven-team league. Three players – Senior Airman Larry Haynes, Staff Sgt. Brian Cooper and Staff Sgt. Troy Hoover – were picked for the all-tournament team with coach Marvie Epps earning the conference's coach of the year.
