2/28/2013 - JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas -- The Central Florida Chapter of the Air Force Association recognized Air Education and Training Command with four awards at the chapter's Air Force Gala banquet in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 21.

Air University, AETC Technical Training Division, AETC Medical Training and Community College of the Air Force were named Jimmy Doolittle Educational Fellows. The AETC units received the awards for their efforts in educating and training Airmen.

Lt. Col. Jonathan T. Hamill, CCAF; Col. Lane M. Benefield and Maj. Stephen Savell, Technical Training Division; Lt. Gen. David S. Fadok, AU; and Senior Master Sgt. Claude Weidow, 383rd Training Squadron, representing AETC Medical Training; received the awards on behalf of their unit.

The awards were presented by Secretary of the Air Force Michael B. Donley, who was accompanied by Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, AFA Central Florida Chapter President Michael Liquori and Air Force Gala Chairman Tim Brock.
