Stepping off a C-130 at Maxwell Feb. 21,Tech. Sgt. Jeff Harris receives an enthusiastic welcome from his daughters, Amanda and Brittnie. Sergeant Harris was one of 60 aircrew and maintenance members of Maxwell’s 908th Airlift Wing that deployed for three weeks to Europe, flying missions out of Ramstein, Germany. This New House

Capt. Andrew Spady (left), an Officer Training School flight commander, and Capt. Eric Tatum, an Air University Plans and Programs officer, spend their Monday removing a barrier from the two-story home built for the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” television series. More than 80 volunteers from Maxwell spent many hours off-duty in support of the construction of a home for a needy Montgomery family. According to Maj. Freddie Goldwire, 42nd Air Base Wing coordinator for the support, Maxwell volunteers were involved in all phases of the construction and clean-up. (Air Force photo by Donna Burnett)
