Gen. Stephen Lorenz departed from Maxwell Base Operations Sept. 27 after one of his final visits to Air University as AETC commander. Gen. Lorenz was at Air University to speak to a joint session of Air War College and Air Command and Staff College students. On hand to salute Gen. Lorenz as he departed were enlisted and officer Airmen of every rank from Airman Basic to Lieutenant General. Included were (left to right) Chief Master Sgt. Brye McMillon, Senior Master Sgt. The International Family Orientation Program received a $4,000 donation last week from the Air Command and Staff College spouses’ group. From left, Staci Rowell, Heather Forrest, Col. Michael Homan, International Officers School commander, and Laura Pate. IFOP is a two-week program for the families of Air War College and Air Command and Staff College international students. The program orients families to the area and eases the stress of relocating to the United States. This year’s IFOP is June 21-30 at Maxwell Elementary School.
