Santa Claus arrives at Maxwell AFB

Santa Claus makes a surprise visit to Maxwell's Christmas tree lighting ceremony bringing out the holiday spirit in young and old. The festivities included music, food and drinks, as well as a chance for children to request Chirstmas gifts from Santa.

Taking steps away from violence

Maxwell Air Force Base community members take part in a 'Walk a Mile in My Shoes' event Tuesday to raise awareness of domestic violence as part of the base's campaign of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
