Two Air Command and Staff College students unveil a painting commemorating the “Great Moments in Aviation History” event at the Montgomery Civic Center in Montgomery, Alabama June 4, 1982. The painting was presented to Brig. Gen. Richard Ingram, 1982 ACSC commandant, by Maj. John Artz, 1982 Air Command and Staff College Class president. Now known as Gathering of Eagles, the event is held annually by ACSC to honor men and women who have made significant contributions to air, space and cyberspace power. (1982 Maxwell Dispatch photo)
