OTS celebrates its 50th anniversary
Jubilant graduates from a recent class of the Holm Center Officer Traning School throw their caps into the air. Today OTS begins a three-day clebration of its 50th anniversary.A retreat ceremony honoring alumni who were killed or missing in action takes place today at 4 p.m and a 5K run takes place Saturday at 7 a.m. The run is open to valid military ID holders and their dependents; a golf tournament follows at 8 a.m. at the Maxwell courses. Student and faculty players from Air Command and Staff College won both singles and doubles titles from Air War College recently in Maxwell-Gunter intramural tennis competition. Singles winners were Maj. Kelvin Fan and Maj. Jim Hewitt (above). Doubles winners were Lt. Col. Tom Jahn and Navy Cmdr. Dan Heidt. The championship matches were played Nov. 3.
