Brian Beckno, an Army instructor at Air University’s Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, accepts the 2014 Secretary of Defense Award for Excellence in Maintenance Training, Advice and Assistance of Foreign Security Forces (Ministerial Category) on behalf of the men and women he led as commander of 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, or Task Force Catamount. Brenda Hartley, University Inn lead front desk clerk, and Beannye Butts, front desk manager, hand Master Sgt. Glenn Clark his room key on Tuesday. The University Inn, part of the 42nd Force Support Squadron, won the Large Base Category 2010 Air Education and Training Command’s Innkeeper Award. University Inn provides Five-Diamond service to more than 55,000 guests annually and maintains about 2,300 rooms.
