Maxwell leadership starts the flu vaccine process
Lt. Gen David Fadok, president and commander of the Air University receives
a bandage applied by SrA Sara A. Williams, following his annual flu shot on
Monday. Williams, an Allergy and Immunization technician with the 42nd
Medical Operations Squadron was part of a team providing flu shots this week
for 2012-2013 flu season. The 42nd Medical Group's Immunizations Clinic will
administer flu vaccinations for the 2012 - 2013 flu season to all TRICARE
beneficiaries and DoD employees beginning on Sept. 4. A flu shot line is
also scheduled for active duty military members only on Sept 7 in the
auditorium of building 892 on Gunter Annex. For more information call the
Immunization Clinic at 953-5731.

AETC commander visits
Gen. Stephen Lorenz departed from Maxwell Base Operations Sept. 27 after one of his final visits to Air University as AETC commander. Gen. Lorenz was at Air University to speak to a joint session of Air War College and Air Command and Staff College students.
On hand to salute Gen. Lorenz as he departed were enlisted and officer Airmen of every rank from Airman Basic to Lieutenant General. Included were (left to right) Chief Master Sgt.
