Saluting air power
The 3-D representation of the Officer Training School patch was originally located on the OTS complex at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Today, it stands just west of the OTS parade field and is referred to by OTS students and personnel as the school?s mascot. It was trucked to Maxwell in 1993 and installed at the old OTS dormitories before they were demolished. The patch was then moved to the OTS complex until it was stored near the Project-X site. It was discovered there last year, and officer trainees restored the patch as a class project. (Air Force photo by Carl Bergquist)
