Remembrance Day Ceremony honors sacrifice of those far from home
The Flags of Britain and France fly above the graves of French and British soldiers during a Remembrance Day Ceremony hosted at Oakwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Ala., by officers of the Royal Air Force and French air force, attending professional military education courses at Maxwell Air Force Base. The international officers hold a special annual memorial service at the graves of 78 RAF and 20 FAF cadets, who died from training accidents in the southeast United States during World War II.
