4/10/2012 - Alan Johns, 42nd Operations Support Flight contractor, washes pollen from a F-105D Thunderchief static display at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., April 4. Contractors from the 42nd OSF wash the 12 static displays on Maxwell and Gunter Annex twice a year to enhance the appearnce and prevent corrosion from forming on some of the nearly 20 year old displays.
