Air University Press has released the inaugural journal of Æther: A Journal of Strategic Airpower & Spacepower online.

As the strategic component of the Air Force flagship journal effort, now in its 75th year, Æther: A Journal of Strategic Airpower & Spacepower will continue the strong legacy of its predecessor, Strategic Studies Quarterly. It serves as a forum for critically examining, informing and debating national and international security matters as they relate to airpower and spacepower.

The journal features articles by leading Department of the Air Force voices, including Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force JoAnne Bass and articles by Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost, commander of U.S. Transportation Command, and Lt. Gen. John Shaw, deputy commander of U.S. Space Command.

The new issue covers a wide range of topics including innovation, information warfare, the space domain and area of responsibility, joint all-domain operations, mobility and logistics, airpower theory, the oath of office, resourcing and a view from the United Kingdom on the use of airpower.

The journal can be accessed at its website, https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/AetherJournal, followed on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/AEtherJournal, LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/company/%C3%A6ther-journal/; and on Twitter at @AEtherJournal.

Print copies of the journal are being mailed this month, and journal staff can be contacted at aether-journal@au.af.edu.
