MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- A piano goes up in flames during a commemoration for the 76th anniversary of the Battle of Britain September 9, 2016, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. American Airmen and International students joined Royal Air Force officers in their tradition of burning a piano on the anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The tradition began during WWII, however the true reason behind the origin is unknown.(U.S. Air Force photo/ SrA Alexa Culbert)
