Giving to a good cause
Lt. Gen. Allen G. Peck (right), commander of Air University, and Col. Kris D. Beasley, commander of the 42nd Air Base Wing, sign their pledge cards for the 2009 Air Force Assistance Fund campaign in the general's office March 9. According to project officer Capt. Benjamin Henley, a goal of $72,031 has been set for Maxwell-Gunter in the campaign ending April 5. The fund benefits organizations that help Air Force people with aid in an emergency, with educational needs, or to have a secure retirement home for Air Force widows or widowers. Active-duty Airmen and retirees may elect payroll deductions, but cash and money orders are also accepted. (Air Force photo by Melanie Rodgers Cox)
