Acting Secretary of the Air Force Eric Fanning commissions officer trainee Lauren Williams to second lieutenant at the Officer Training School at Maxwell Wednesday. Williams worked in Fanning's office prior to her selection to attend Officer Training School. This was Fanning's first visit to Maxwell and, in addition to attending the OTS commissioning ceremony and parade, he met with Air University and 42nd Air Base Wing officials and spoke with students from Squadron Officer College, Air Command and Staff College, Air War College and the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy.
