Remembrance Day Ceremony honors sacrifice of those far from home
Members of the Royal Air Force, the French Air Force, the U.S. Air Force, and members of the Maxwell community salute the graves of British and French Flight cadets located in Oakwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Ala., in a Remembrance Day Ceremony hosted by officers of the RAF and FAF attending professional military education courses at Maxwell Air Force Base. The international officers hold a special annual memorial service at the graves of 78 RAF and 20 FAF flight cadets, who died from training accidents in the southeast United States during World War II.
