Air University professor wins AF Historical Foundation award
Dr. Nicholas Sambaluk, an associate professor of strategy at the Air University eSchool of Graduate Professional Military Education, recently earned the Air Force Historical Foundation's Best Air Power History Book of 2016 award for his book 'The Other Space Race: Eisenhower and the Quest for Aerospace Security.' The book, published by the U.S. Naval Institute Press, examines how presidential leadership styles, Air Force doctrine, technological concepts and strategic intelligence requirements combined to shape aerospace security and the U.S. space program.
