Air University commemorates 100th Remembrance Day
Col. Paul Nelson, Surgeon General’s Chair to Air University, speaks during the Remembrance Day Service, Nov. 11, 2018, at the Oakwood Cemetery Annex in Montgomery, Alabama. In addition to the U.S., members of the French, British and other Commonwealth militaries were in attendance to pay their respects for fallen service members. Remembrance Day is commemorated on the Sunday closest to Nov. 11, across the British Commonwealth to mark the signing of the armistice ending hostilities on the Western Front of World War I, which occurred 100 years ago.
