Stephanie and David Tinkey pin second lieutenant bars on their daughter Grace’s shoulders during her commissioning ceremony, June 2, 2022, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Tinkey graduated from Air Force Officer Training School, June 3, 2022, fulfilling a 10-year dream of becoming an officer. Personal family tragedies delayed the former enlisted C-17 loadmaster from reaching her goal.
