    Brigadier General Christopher J. Niemi took command of the Jeanne M. Holm Center for Officer Accessions and Citizen Development in a ceremony officiated by Lt. Gen. Anthony J. Cotton, commander and president of Air University, August 23 at the Maxwell Club on Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. As head of the Air Force’s largest officer accessioning source, Niemi leads more than 3,200 Airmen and is responsible for the training and development of 163,000 cadets at 2,140 global locations.
  • Air Force soars during 2018 National High School Drill Team Championships

    The nation’s top Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets traveled to Daytona Beach, Florida, May 4-6, for the 2018 National High School Drill Team Championships. The high school students showcased their skills in both armed and unarmed categories in front of judges and military training instructors from all branches of the military during the three day event.
  • Best of the Best: MIT cadet selected as Air Force ROTC Cadet of the Year

    Massachusetts Institute of Technology ROTC Cadet Col. Nicholas James was honored recently as Air Force ROTC’s Cadet of the Year. The award was presented to James by Air Force Vice Chief of Staff, General Stephen Wilson during ceremonies at the Pentagon on Feb. 23.
