The 42nd Air Base Wing Commander Col. Eric Shafa and Command Chief, Chief Master Sgt. Laura Callaway present the Military Trophy to Air University's Air War College team for the fastest time in a 300-meter dragonboat race on Aug. 27, 2016. The 21-person team was one of four military teams that participated in the Montgomery Dragonboat Festival, which took place in downtown Montgomery's Riverwalk. The other three military teams included the 42nd Air Base Wing, Squadron Officer College, and Air Command and Staff College. The festival benefited two local non-profits: Bridge Builders Alabama and Rebuilding Together Central Alabama.
