Major Chad J. Everett

Maj. Chad J. Everett is the commander, 42nd Communications Squadron, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. He operates and maintains communications and information systems to support 13,000 permanent parties and 16,000 students at Air University, the 42nd Air Base Wing, the 908th Airlift Wing, and over 40 tenant units on Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.

Maj. Everett entered the Air Force in May 2010 through the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He completed Undergraduate Cyber Training in 2011 and has since held various communications positions at the center, major commands, and squadron levels, including the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, Officer Training School, and Headquarters United Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa.

Maj. Everett has deployed to support Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve, where he was the principal joint communications planner for counter-ISIL operations in Iraq and Syria. Additionally, Major Everett served as the camp commander for the largest Air Force encampment of Afghan travelers during Operation Allies Refuge/Welcome in Europe. Prior to his current position, he was the director of operations, 86th Communications Squadron, 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
