Chief Master Sergeant JANNA S. WESLEY

Chief Master Sgt. Janna S. Wesley serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 42nd Mission Support Group, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. In this capacity, she is the principal advisor to the commander, leading more than 1,679 personnel in seven squadrons delivering support in the areas of civil engineering, fire protection, communications, contracting, manpower, personnel and services, deployment processing, fuels, supply, transportation, air traffic control, airfield management, and base security and police services.

Prior to assuming this position, Chief Wesley was the senior enlisted leader of the 10th Force Support Squadron at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this capacity, she advised the director in leading 22 militaries and 725 civilian Airmen in eight major flights across 60 facilities and programs. The unit enhanced readiness by providing and sustaining essential combat support, career development, and community services to over 9,000 Airmen and their families. Support and services included, but were not limited to, cadet and military dining operations, lodging, civilian personnel, child development, youth programs, recreation, fitness, casualty and mortuary affairs, and Airmen and family readiness.

Chief Wesley enlisted in the Air Force in April 1995. Her background includes various duties within Personnel and Enlisted Professional Military Education career fields.
