  • Help Seeking for Holiday Stress

    The holiday season is often a festive time of year. It is a time of year where we pass along holiday traditions to our children and grandchildren. Many of us prepare for the holidays weeks in advance. We have favorite or signature recipes, we play and sing along to traditional music, we watch Christmas shows, go to parades and festivals, shop for gifts, search for the perfect tree and decorate it with our favorite ornaments.
  • Christmas and New Year’s Day 2020: Holiday hours at Maxwell Air Force Base & Gunter Annex

    ​Many Maxwell Air Force Base – Gunter Annex offices and services will be closed or have limited hours for the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays. The base will observe Christmas Eve Thursday, Dec. 24th, Christmas Friday, Dec. 25th, New Year’s Day Friday, Jan 1st, and an AETC Family Day on Monday, Jan. 4th.

  • AU Library makes women’s exhibit available online during pandemic

    “We are excited to have recently launched the new web exhibit and resource guide on Women’s Equality Day in honor of the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment,” said Dr. Mehmed Ali, Air University Library academic services director. “The guide is our small contribution toward helping bring attention to the larger issues that women continue to face a century later.”

    The 908th Airlift Wing has added the Alabama State University’s logo to the nose of one of its C-130 Hercules Oct. 29, 2020. The artwork was unveiled at a ceremony in a 908th Maintenance Group hangar.
