River Region Runners
Event Name: Montgomery Jubilee Run - 2 road races in downtown Montgomery AL

Location: Old Alabama Town (race headquarters), 301 Columbus Street, Montgomery AL 36104
Purpose of Event: Promote fitness in the Montgomery area to include the Montgomery Police Dept.
Volunteers Requested: 20
1. Course monitors, 16 people. Start duties - 0730. End duties - depends on location and race - 0900 or earlier. Volunteers will stand along different points of the race course and direct runners along the course to ensure they remain on the correct course.
2. Water stop volunteers, 4 people. Start duties - 0730. End duties - 0830 or earlier. Volunteers will stand at the water stop, fill cups with water, hand water cups to race participants, and pick up discarded water cups and assist with clean-up of the water stop area.
Arrival Time(s): 6:45-7:00 a.m at Old Alabama Town on June 1st
Age Requirements: 21 years and above
Special Skills: Be able to stand outside for up to 1 hour and 45 minutes, be able to assist participants with staying on course, and seek help for any runners that need other assistance

The No. 1 objective to puppy-raising/ dog socializing is LOVE and exposure to lots of things. We want your dog exposed to lots of people, places, noises, and new sights.
You will need to provide your puppy with safe chew toys and teach him what he can and can’t chew on.
You will need to housebreak your puppy.
You will teach him to walk on a leash, sit, lie down, and stay. Depending on how much progress you make, you may be teaching more advanced commands before you know it!

Puppy-raisers need a family that has a parent who stays home much of each day.
